Three things to know up front about CJC-1295 and TB-500 peptide therapy in Weston. Neither peptide is approved by the FDA for any medical use. Neither is currently eligible for compounding under section 503A. Both are prohibited by the World Anti-Doping Agency at all times, so if you compete in any tested sport, at any level, these are not an option for you.

What CJC-1295 and TB-500 Actually Are

CJC-1295 is a synthetic analog of growth hormone-releasing hormone. It signals the pituitary gland to release more of the body’s own growth hormone. A 2006 randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study in healthy adults confirmed it raises growth hormone and IGF-1, with a half-life of 5.8 to 8.1 days.

That study measured hormone levels. It did not measure healing, recovery, pain, inflammation, or any clinical outcome. Any page citing it as proof that CJC-1295 heals tissue is misrepresenting what it found.

TB-500 is a synthetic 7-amino-acid fragment of thymosin beta-4, a 43-amino-acid protein the body produces in response to injury. The two are not the same molecule, and the difference matters more than most clinics admit. Nearly all the encouraging research cited for TB-500 was carried out on full-length thymosin beta-4, frequently applied topically or studied in animals. It cannot be transferred to the injectable fragment.

A 2026 review in the American Journal of Sports Medicine examined injectable peptides used in orthopaedic and sports medicine. It found no randomized controlled trials for any of them. For TB-500 there are no human orthopaedic studies. For CJC-1295 there are no clinical orthopaedic studies, only animal models. When the FDA reviewed TB-500 in 2026 it reported that it found no information in the medical literature where TB-500 had been administered to patients at all.

What We Know and What We Do Not

Here is where each compound actually stands, based on what has and has not been tested in people.

Muscle and Tissue Repair

CJC-1295 stimulates growth hormone release while TB500 accelerates the repair of damaged muscle fibers and connective tissue, reducing the time it takes your body to bounce back after injury or intense training.

Inflammation and Pain Reduction

TB500 works at the cellular level to lower chronic inflammation and ease joint pain, making it easier to stay active and consistent with your recovery without relying on medications.

Sports and Athletic Recovery

Together CJC-1295 and TB500 help athletes recover between sessions faster, protect against overuse injuries, and maintain the muscle quality needed to keep performing at a high level.

Post-Surgery and Injury Recovery

For those recovering from surgery or a significant injury, this peptide combination supports faster tissue regeneration, reduces scar tissue formation, and helps restore strength and mobility more quickly.

What a Consultation at Revive 365 Involves

Revive 365 Wellness was founded by Tracee Block Trapanese, PA-C, MPH and Cynthia Gavilanes, PA-C, board-certified Physician Assistants with over 30 years of combined clinical experience in hormone optimization and integrative wellness.

A first appointment covers your full history and medication review, including cancer history, endocrine history and any anti-doping obligations; baseline labs including IGF-1 and a metabolic panel; and a direct conversation about what the evidence supports and what it does not.

How We Handle This

  • We screen first. Cancer history, pituitary history, pregnancy, glucose tolerance and anti-doping obligations are all exclusions, and we check them before anything else.
  • We tell you what the evidence shows. For these two compounds that means telling you no randomized trial supports the recovery claims you will read elsewhere.
  • We do not pressure you. If the evidence does not support what you are hoping for, we will say so and discuss options that have better support.
  • We follow the current legal position. Neither compound is FDA-approved or currently eligible for compounding under section 503A, and we will not pretend otherwise.
  • We monitor with labs, not with impressions. Where a protocol is appropriate and lawfully available, we track IGF-1 and metabolic markers and adjust as your body responds.

Who Should Not Consider These Peptides

No toxicology program exists for TB-500. There are no carcinogenicity, genotoxicity, or reproductive studies. For CJC-1295, the closest approved comparator is tesamorelin, the only FDA-approved GHRH analog. Its label contraindicates use in active cancer, in pituitary disease, and in pregnancy, and warns on IGF-1 elevation and increased diabetes risk. We treat that label as the floor, not the ceiling.

– Active cancer, or a history of cancer
– Pituitary or hypothalamic disease, or a history of pituitary surgery or cranial radiation
– Pregnancy or breastfeeding
– Diabetes or impaired glucose tolerance
– Anti-doping testing obligations of any kind
– Age under 18

How We Approach This

Every consultation starts with your history, your labs, and your goals, not with a product. If the evidence does not support what you are hoping for, we will say so, and we will tell you what does have better support.

Where a peptide protocol is appropriate and lawfully available, we monitor you throughout with follow-up labs and adjust as your body responds. Where it is not, we will tell you that too.

We do not guarantee outcomes, and we will tell you when we think something is not worth your money.
