Hair Restoration In Hollywood, FL
Revive 365 Wellness sees Hollywood, FL patients for non-surgical hair restoration at its Weston clinic, 19.5 miles from Hollywood City Hall by I-95 and I-595. A plan can combine prescription medication, peptide therapy, scalp microneedling and PRF, which is prepared at the visit from your own blood. We don’t perform hair transplants.
If the beach, the Intracoastal or a pool is part of your week, read the Beach-Day Rule below before you book. A scalp session decides when you can swim again.

The first visit sorts you into 1 of 3 next steps
Your first visit ends with 1 of 3 answers: treatment with us, a transplant consult, or a dermatologist
Treatment with us fits hair that is thinning, receding or shedding but still growing, even when the new hairs come in finer than they used to. Some plans begin with lab work, to rule out hormone or nutrient problems first. The consultation decides what goes into the plan, and the page for our full hair restoration program explains each option.
A transplant consult fits an area where the consultation finds nothing left for treatment to work on. We’ll say so at that visit. Our page on alternatives to a hair transplant is written for people weighing surgery.
A dermatologist comes first for 2 patterns. Round, smooth patches that show up suddenly can be alopecia areata, which StatPearls describes as “isolated, smooth, sudden, nonscarring, and patchy hair loss.” Hair loss that comes with itching, burning, pain or tenderness can point to a scarring type. The American Academy of Dermatology lists those among the scalp symptoms of central centrifugal cicatricial alopecia, a condition that destroys follicles, and adds: “You may not develop these symptoms.” A dermatologist should see either pattern before anyone puts a needle to the scalp.
For women, our page on hair loss treatment for women covers the options in more detail.
If a transplant is also on your list
Put 1 question to any transplant office in writing. It comes word for word from the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery’s consumer guidance: “Will anyone not licensed by the state (or country) be making incisions or harvesting grafts during my surgery?”
Florida’s Board of Medicine answered part of that question in 2016, in a ruling our PRF for hair loss page walks through. Bills to put an answer into state law were filed in 3 regular sessions in a row, SB 790 in 2015, SB 974 in 2016 and SB 1324 in 2017. None passed.
The Beach-Day Rule for scalp treatment in Hollywood
Book each scalp microneedling session at least 10 days before a beach day, or at least 1 week after one. If the beach day lands before day 14, keep your scalp covered from the sun. That’s the Beach-Day Rule. The numbers behind it come from our microneedling aftercare guide.
The guide sets these limits around a session:
- The week before: keep sun exposure to a minimum. Sunburned skin can’t be safely treated, and the session gets rescheduled.
- The first 3 days after: keep sweating to a minimum.
- At least 72 hours after: no swimming at all.
- The first week after: no direct sun. Treated skin stays sensitive to sun for 7 to 14 days, so protect it through day 14.
- Typically 7 to 10 days after: back in the water, once peeling is done and the skin feels normal.

We named it the Beach-Day Rule because of where you live.
Microneedling makes fine punctures in the scalp on purpose, and until they close, that skin is broken. The Florida Department of Health describes Vibrio vulnificus as “a naturally occurring bacteria in warm, brackish seawater.” Its prevention guidance reads: “Avoid exposure of open wounds or broken skin to warm salt or brackish water, or to raw shellfish harvested from such waters.” That reaches past the beach. If you swim, paddle or boat in salt or brackish water behind your building, it applies there too. Pools count as well, because the aftercare guide names pool chlorine as an irritant for healing skin.
Season matters. The CDC says Vibrio bacteria “are found in higher numbers in May through October, when water temperatures are warmer.” It also notes: “Some people get vibriosis after an open wound comes in contact with coastal waters.”
Vibrio vulnificus infection is rare in Broward. As of September 24, 2026, the Florida Department of Health counted 2 Vibrio vulnificus cases and 1 death in Broward County this year, and 3 cases and 1 death in 2025. Statewide, 2026 stood at 23 cases and 5 deaths. The same page warns that these infections “can be a serious concern for people who have weakened immune systems, particularly those with chronic liver disease.” If that describes you, tell us before your first session.
Heat is the other local factor. At the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport station, NOAA’s 1991-2020 climate normals put the average high at 90.0°F in July and August, and at 88.3°F or above from June through September. January’s average high is 75.6°F, which makes the 3 low-sweat days easier to keep.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I go to Hollywood Beach the weekend after a scalp session?
Plan on 2 weekends out. The next weekend lands 6 to 8 days after a weekend session. That’s right at the end of the no-direct-sun week, and at the early edge of the usual 7 to 10 days before water activities.
Does the Intracoastal or my building’s pool count, or only the ocean?
Both count. The Department of Health’s Vibrio guidance covers warm salt or brackish water wherever it is, and our aftercare guide names pool chlorine as an irritant for healing skin. Stay out of both until peeling is done and the skin feels normal, typically 7 to 10 days.
Can I start treatment in the summer?
Yes, with more planning. The CDC says Vibrio numbers run higher from May through October, and the airport station’s average high is 88.3°F or above from June through September. Pick session dates with no water plans for the next 10 days and no direct sun for the first 7.

Since the first appointment is a consultation, the Beach-Day Rule starts with your first scalp session, not your first visit. Timing matters for a second reason.
