Hair Restoration In Pembroke Pines, FL
Revive 365 Wellness treats thinning and shedding hair for Pembroke Pines patients at its clinic at 1310 SW 160 Ave in Weston. The drive took 16 to 23 minutes from the 4 Pembroke Pines starting points we timed on a weekday evening. Treatment starts with medication, scalp microneedling with PRF can be added on top, and every plan begins with finding what’s driving the loss.
In-person and telehealth appointments available
What The Clinic Offers For Thinning Hair
Revive 365 Wellness treats hair loss in men and women whose follicles are still producing hair. Your evaluation decides which of these go into your plan:
- Finasteride, a daily prescription tablet that blocks testosterone from converting to DHT. The FDA labels it for pattern hair loss in men only.
- Topical minoxidil, an FDA-approved over-the-counter treatment, with versions labeled for women.
- Prescribed peptides, taken systemically or applied to the scalp, sourced from a state-regulated compounding pharmacy. The peptide therapy page for Pembroke Pines patients explains where they come from.
- Scalp microneedling with PRF. Your blood is drawn and spun at the same visit, and the platelet-rich fibrin it yields is applied over the treated area during the session. The 6 published PRF hair studies we reviewed all injected it, and our PRF hair treatment page sets out what that research does and doesn’t cover.
- Exosomes, an optional add-on during microneedling. The FDA status is covered further down this page.
Getting to the Weston clinic from Pembroke Pines
The clinic sits 10 to 14 miles from Pembroke Pines, and the fastest route from each point we checked finishes on I-75 North. We timed the drives in Google Maps on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at about 8:20 PM. Pembroke Lakes Mall took 16 minutes and the Chapel Trail Nature Preserve took 19. Pembroke Pines City Hall took 21, and Pines Boulevard at University Drive took 23. Rush hour wasn’t part of the test, so leave extra time for a weekday afternoon slot.
Revive 365 has no treatment room in Pembroke Pines. Microneedling and PRF sessions happen in Weston, where the devices and the sterile setup are kept. Telehealth appointments are available too.
What To Bring To Your First Visit
Bringing these 4 things can save you a second trip up I-75.
- Every medication and supplement you take, with the date you started each one. For a GLP-1 drug, add each dose change.
- Any lab results from the past year.
- Older photos of your part or crown, if you have them.
- The hair products you’ve already tried, and how long you used each one.
Your provider goes through your history first, then decides whether you need new labs to check for a hormonal or nutritional cause.

GLP-1 Drugs And Shedding: What The 2026 Reports Add
If you’re losing weight on semaglutide or tirzepatide, including through our GLP-1 program for Pembroke Pines patients, your drug history is part of the hair evaluation. Both programs share the Weston office, the intake and the lab work. Hair loss is listed on the Wegovy and Zepbound labels, and our article on hair loss after weight loss compares those label rates by drug and dose.
The newer evidence comes from outside the trials. A Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology paper from June 2026 searched FDA adverse event reports filed from 2016 to 2025 across 7 GLP-1 drugs. Semaglutide showed an alopecia signal in 2022 and again in 2024, with reporting odds ratios of 1.43 and 1.55. 25% of the semaglutide reports documented the hair loss improving after the drug was stopped, and 18% documented it returning when the drug was restarted. The authors describe these as signals that merit further monitoring.
Timing is the practical part. A shed from fast weight loss usually starts around 3 months after the trigger, so the date you started, or raised your dose, tells your provider more than the date you noticed hair in the drain.
Any change to a GLP-1 dose belongs with the clinician who prescribes it, shedding or not.
Exosomes and "stem cell" hair treatments in Florida
No exosome product has FDA approval for any use, and our comparison of PRF and hair transplants quotes the FDA’s notice. Florida adds a state-level limit worth knowing if you’re weighing exosomes, or anything sold as stem cell hair therapy.
Florida’s 2025 stem cell law, section 458.3245 of the Florida Statutes, lets physicians use certain stem cell therapies that aren’t FDA-approved in 3 fields only: orthopedics, wound care and pain management. Its definition also leaves out secreted products such as cell factors. Hair loss isn’t one of the 3. Where the law does apply, the physician needs a signed consent form that covers the lack of FDA approval. Any advertising has to carry a state-worded notice that the therapy isn’t FDA-approved, printed no smaller than the largest type in the ad.
At Revive 365, exosomes stay optional. Before recommending them, your provider covers what the evidence shows so far, where the product comes from and what results to expect.
If You're Weighing A Transplant
Revive 365 doesn’t perform transplants. A transplant moves follicles to thinner areas, and medication usually stays in the plan afterward. Our page on hair transplant alternatives compares the 2 routes in full.
The 2025 practice census from the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery, built from 247 member responses about 2024 cases, gives a sense of scale. The average FUE procedure moved 2,262 grafts, and the average first procedure moved 2,347. Repeat procedures averaged 1,637 grafts, and the physicians who answered reported 1.5 procedures per patient on average, with a median of 1. And 72.3% said they always or often prescribed finasteride 1 mg to their patients in 2024.
If you choose surgery, the medication side can be managed here, before and after the procedure, for the hair the surgery leaves in place.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a Revive 365 office in Pembroke Pines?
No. In-person care happens at 1310 SW 160 Ave in Weston, 10 to 14 miles from the Pembroke Pines locations we timed. Telehealth appointments are also available.
Do you see patients from other nearby cities?
Yes. Patients also come from Miramar, Southwest Ranches, Cooper City, Davie and Weston itself, for both clinic and telehealth visits.
Which parts of treatment need the drive to Weston?
Microneedling and PRF sessions do, since the equipment is in Weston and the PRF comes from a blood draw taken at the same visit. Your provider can tell you which follow-ups work by telehealth.
I’m on a GLP-1 and my hair is shedding. Should I stop the drug?
Talk to the clinician who prescribes it before you change anything. Bring your start date and each dose change to your hair appointment, since the timing of the shed is the first clue to its cause.
How soon will I know if it’s working?
It takes months. The finasteride label says benefit usually needs at least 3 months of daily use. For minoxidil, a 2025 review in JAAD puts visible growth at 4 months or later, with 6 to 12 months as the better window to judge it.
Can women use these treatments?
Yes, apart from finasteride. Minoxidil comes in versions labeled for women, and microneedling with PRF and prescribed peptides are open to women too. Finasteride’s label is for men, and the drug must not be used by anyone who is or could become pregnant. If you’re pregnant, trying to conceive or breastfeeding, say so before anything is planned.
Do you do hair transplants?
No. If your follicles are gone, your provider will tell you at the first visit. If you’re planning surgery, medication here can help protect the hair the transplant doesn’t move.
Does the benefit last if I stop?
Not for the 2 medications. The finasteride label says the effect reverses within 12 months of stopping, and minoxidil works only while you keep using it.
